Yeah, journal entry #4,927,612 mourning,praising, or at least mentioning Michael Jackson's death. I never said I was original.

I never really grew up with Michael Jackson music, so I'm not as affected as some people are, but I am shocked. I mean, cardiac arrest at the age of 50... Kind of scary. Also hard to believe. I mean, I know he's dead, but there was a scare with Bob Barker being dead that turned out to not be true. At first I thought it was kind of like that. Wrong, obviously.

Ok, most people around my age just think of "child molester" when they hear the name Michael Jackson. I have no opinion about this. I don't know enough about him and I don't want to stick my nose into other people's business. If it is true about what he did, I'm going to ignore it for tonight. He changed music in a big way, you have to respect what he did for the entertainment industry, even if it's just for one night. Leave your bad jokes about Neverland, children, Peter Pan, and whatever until some other time. I mean, he had REALLY awesome music.

To wrap this up, if you don't care for him, at least give thoughts to his family and those who do like him.
